Arabic chicken Gravy recipe
ingredients
1=chicken cut with bones 500g
2=Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
3=Red chili 1 tbsp
4=Black pepper 1/2 tbsp
5=coriander powder 1tbsp
6=cumin powder 1 tbsp
7=Turmeric powder 1tbsp
8=Food colour 1/4tbsp
9=Salt 1tbsp(or test)
10=chicken powder 1tbsp
11=yogurt 1cup
12=Tomato paste 2tbsp
13=Tomatoes 3 medium size chopped
14=onion 2 medium size chopped
15=oil 3-4 tbsp
Next
marinate the chicken pieces with turmeric powder, yogurt ,salt and food colour set side 1 hour .
in a pan add oil with onion until golden brown add Ginger garlic paste and chicken mix well and cook 5 minutes ,till the chicken start changing colour add all spices & 2-3 cook .add Tomato chopped ,paste and cook well until tomatoes mix with gravy add 2cup water stir well and lid cover on low heat for 10 minutes or till chicken is tender and oil separate .
chicken is ready to serve with rice or (roti-chappati).
